Unreleased Vaportrail (CD-R) - $5

1) Europa (levitation mix) - this mix takes the original to a whole new level. It overloads the senses and is super intense, especially at the end. I prefer this one over the album version.

2) Can't You See the Light (TAHL outtake)- the strings (played by Sam Bass) are too gorgeous to let this song go unheard. The vocals are purposely effected to get an 'icy' sound.

3) Eta Carina (acoustic) - a one-take wonder captured perfectly by Dylan at Badman Studios

4) Hotel Womb (Church cover) - ah yes, the $700 song. Recorded for a Church tribute CD that never happened. This is the only recording that Shane & Chris played on (well, Chris played a little guitar on Melt too).

5) You Have To Be Joking (Flaming Lips cover) - originally done in 1996 with just acoustic guitar & vocals. In 1999 Gregg & I added the percussion, weird keyboard, slide guitar & low bass notes. Tried to capture the spirit of the Lips while making it our own.

6) Total Peace (Sebadoh cover) - a solo 4-track song that came out better than expected

7) Treasure Throne Pharmacy (demo) - recorded on Gregg's computer. Erica plays bass on it. This version is much more raw and twice as heavy as the TAHL outtake.

9) Marbles in the Sky - 4-track demo with layered, distored keyboards
10) Space Age Love Song (Flock of Seagulls cover) - 8-track demo sessions before Gregg & Michael left the band. Very high energy and fun.
